The aim of this study is to examine the effects Dual task training versus Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on balance and cognition in geriatric population. There growing evidence involvement executive control maintenance older people. Balance considered as one risk factors for fall especially adults. effective way maintaining balance. PNF pattern exercise can activate joint sense by moving almost all joints body simultaneously. This an experimental design with pre post comparative study. was conducted Physiotherapy Outpatient department ACS Medical College Hospital. duration about 12 weeks. subjects between age group 65 – 85 years both sex those without orthopedic problems were included severe dementia, cardiac problems, who had undergone recent surgery excluded from 50 Geriatric individuals selected divided into two groups which Group AReceived Task Training B received a period outcome measures cognition. tools Berg Scale, Falls Efficacy Brief Cognitive Rating Scale Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment Scale.
